Course Objective
This program provides clinicians with the opportunity to learn about:

Three relationship processes simultaneously occur  
Disruptions in attachment, especially in relationships with parents
Attachment relationships between grandchildren and grandparents develop or are revised
Family members’ internal working models of attachment and care giving are challenged and shaped.

Author Bio
JULIE POEHLMANN, Ph.D. - Professor Julie Poehlmann has had a joint appointment with the Educational Psychology Department at the University of Wisconsin since 2004.  Her primary appointment is in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies in the School of Human Ecology, and she is affiliated with the Waisman Center.  She is a licensed psychologist in Wisconsin and New York.
